- Lack of new joiners (employees) inductions. (Many organisations have 10%-15% turnover of staff per year. Untrained new employees could become a real buy-in issue after 2-3 years of neglect.)
- Lack of senior management involvement and ownership. (The business invested a significant amount of money, time and effort to get the ERP/IFS solution live. The job of the management should be to sweat the asset and get the promised ROI.)
- Lack of capacity and capabilities. (Key personnel involved in the initial implementation are no longer available. This results in a knowledge drain as well as loss of a support resource.)
