1. Education / Raising Awareness:

One UK client asked E-Helpers to conduct a bespoke 1 hour on-line training course to show their IFS project team, business Engineers and IFS Helpdesk personnel (14 individuals) how best to set up a budgeting process in IFS and how to monitor a customer project costs against the forecast.

Investment £60 for 1 hour delivery / 2 hours for connecting to their test environment (UAT) and preparing a bespoke session with their data. Total investment £180.00

2. Management Reports:

E-Helper asked to develop a bespoke report (2 hours) to monitor customer project costs against the reported actual (time / material) in real time. Investment £120

E-Helper was asked to develop SQL programming (4 hours) to enable real time analysis (drilldown) of project progress and financial management. Investment £240.00

E-Helper was asked to fix and text an existing IFS report and making it accessible to all Engineers. Investment £60.00

 3. Localisation / Configurations

One US customer asked us to validate the IFS financial / distribution configurations and postings in their IFS rollouts. We conducted two 2 hour sessions with their IFS project team and the local country representatives and reviewed their set up. We connected to their test environments and gave them the advice/service required to go live with confidence. Investment £240.00

4. On-site Go Live / Handholding Assistance

One customer asked for our E-Helper to be on-site to assist their team with the go live week. The E-Helper provided end to end process support as well as advising their helpdesk when necessary. The aim is to reduce delays and ensure the business users get first class assistance during the critical go live week.

5. Technical (IFS-Oracle) Health check

E-Helper conducted a comprehensive Oracle (DBA) – IFS installation health check and made recommendations to the customer to improve performance and data housekeeping (archiving / backup). Investment £180

6. Disaster Recovery – DBA / Backup Assistance

E-Helper assisted an IT manager (1 hour) with the DR testing and the backup process. Investment £60

  • Targeted Assistance: answering specific exam questions / issues
  • On Demand: get involved when the local IFS team need additional knowledge or validation quickly
  • Hourly: charge on hour basis as many of the issues don’t fit in a daily rate
  • No expiry date on the hours
  • Transparency (timesheet approval before charging)
  • Environment (use local test environment to provide relevant assistance)
